Seams In Granite Countertops

Seams are a natural process in the installation of full slab or prefabricated granite. In most instances a seam or two are necesssary when granite is installed into an average kitchen because, A. the granite countertop would be too heavy to lift into the kitchen without breaking the granite, B. the granite countertop would literally not fit through the doorways to get into the kitchen area to install. Therefore, two-part epoxy and coloring dyes are sold specificallyfor the seaming purpose.
